ProtoToto Design Lab for Kids

A visit to the stop motion film studio @bigobjectstudio where we got to see behind the scenes of how stop motion movies are made, from fabrication to filming.

Founder @davidbellstudio showed us clay sculptures, cast molds, rubberized moveable characters, sets and tools. We talked about the working with clients, the creative teams, the filming process, the different 3D printers used, and so much more.

So much talent and a wide array of skills goes into making stop motion films, you can really sense how a love for the medium is a key part of the process.
