People ask me if women are mean to each other at pageants… well it’s the complete opposite… and I’ll tell you why…

We are all walking toward the same dream, knowing only one name will be called… and somehow they’re still the first to fix your hair, calm your nerves, tell you that you look beautiful, and remind you that you belong.

Maybe that’s because we all know what it feels like to hope someone sees something special in us.

When you’ve felt that kind of vulnerability yourself, you don’t want another woman to feel alone in it.

So instead of competing from insecurity, we choose encouragement.

Because if we’re all hoping to be seen, all dreaming of the same opportunity, and all fighting our own silent battles…

Shouldn’t we be the first to remind each other that we’re already enough?
