Thank you Glen! You came into my life like a tornado of love. Every day with you was a lesson in kindness. You are generosity in its purest form. You lit up everyone who had the chance to cross your path, and I feel so incredibly privileged to have stood so close to your fire.
Thank you, Glen, for letting me into your universe and for making me feel so special.
We love you and I’ll carry your spirit with me forever.
I keep seeing your feet stomp and your ass dance right in front of me.. I miss you brother..

So sorry for your loss! Such a deep void since he has been gone. His light though shines forever. Keep strong!❤️❤️❤️

❤️ The impossibility of loss. For those who were close to Glen Hansard — friends, partners, musicians — and for those of us who followed him from further away. The frozen faces of his closest musicians in St Patrick’s Cathedral. And now all these stories, photographs, songs and concerts resurfacing, being shared and revisited. There is something brave about it. Almost defiant. And it keeps pulling me deeper into the extraordinary body of work Glen left behind — but even more into the warmth, generosity and connections behind it. A person dies. Their relationships do not. Last night I landed here and got completely lost in it: https://youtu.be/3G8P0kuFGZY A short night followed — and this morning, one urgent feeling: I have to go to Ireland. 🇮🇪 Not simply to remember Glen. I want to see what remains. What has changed. What is beginning. Where do all these people, songs and stories meet again? What will I rediscover — and what will I discover for the first time — in this post-Glen Ireland? Dublin. Galway. Dingle. And whatever happens in between. I’ll be there in the coming days. If you were close to Glen, played with him, worked with him, followed his music, or simply have a story worth sharing: I would love to meet and listen. Who wants to talk about Glen, his music and what remains? Please message me. Meeting again. Listening. Carrying it forward. Passing through. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DcOAB9zMNzX/?igsh=MWp3eW5sOWJkcHRxNw==&igsi=MWp3eW5sOWJkcHRxNw==
