This season, Colorado farmers are living through a real crop loss crisis and it’s testing just how strong our local food systems actually are.

Colorado chef Josh Niernberg is one of the voices behind our Feeding Freedom campaign, and fellow Colorado chef Daniel Asher has been amplifying that story too. Their message: when farmers lose a season, local purchasing programs are what help them come back from it.
