Samuel Harjanne

Tonight, Wicked opens at @ttteatteri — and I honestly don’t know how to put into words what it means to direct this show for the second time. It was already a dream come true back in 2023 in Sweden. Getting to return to it, deeper and wiser, with a whole new design, production, and cast, is a gift I don’t take lightly.

None of this happens alone. I’m endlessly grateful to the extraordinary cast, creative team, and everyone at TTT who poured their talent and heart into building this world with me — and to my own team at @harjannecompany , who managed the creative team collaboration behind the scenes and made sure every piece fell into place.

I am extremely proud of the cast, including many new members of our fantastic community! May this musical be one to remember, and to kickstart fabulous careers. You are all stars in my eyes.

Tonight we open the curtain on something we’re all so proud of. Fighting against populism, supporting otherness, believing that everyone deserves a chance to fly. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey — on stage, backstage, and beyond. Defying gravity, together. 🩷💚
