10 years ago today, @soulcitychurch ‘s baptism ceremony at the lake, I got the prompting to renew my dedication to Jesus. Hannah had communicated that she wanted to get baptized and as I entered the water with her, I got the nudge to go first. I had been baptized years earlier as a kid but it was clear that it was time to double down on this commitment. What I didn’t realize at the time was that I was being called into ministry. Much to my surprise, @jarrettstevens and @jeannestevens in their wisdom, told me that it was ME that should baptize Hannah. Little did we know … that baptism was going to be my very first act in ministry. Not only that but being Hannah’s dad and spiritual steward has been the MOST important part of being her father. Thank You God for the call. Thank you to my pastors for the honor and seeing ahead into where God was calling me.
