Comment BABE and I will DM you a link to these products. Did you know that some of the most underrated skincare products for adults can be found in the baby section? 👶🧴 Adults can use baby skincare products, including gentle baby wash and shampoo, zinc pyrithione cradle cap shampoo, and diaper rash cream. ✨ Key points Baby wash and shampoo: practical options for gentle cleansing Zinc pyrithione cradle cap shampoo: can help with seborrheic dermatitis and Malassezia-associated folliculitis, sometimes called “fungal acne” Diaper rash cream: great for reducing chafing and healing wind burn. Sometimes, effective skincare doesn’t come from the most expensive products or the skincare aisle you would expect! Have you ever tried a baby product in your adult skincare routine? Let me know in the comments!
Day 5: Skandamata - Nurturing ✨ Nurturing yourself doesn’t have to mean following a perfect diet or giving up everything you love. Sometimes, it simply means finding better ways to take care of yourself. For Day 5 of Navratri, I collaborated with @fit.khurana a certified nutrition and fitness coach, to explore what nurturing can look like through food and everyday choices. Instead of cutting out the foods we love, we’re showing how you can “healthify” them by adding more protein, nutrients and wholesome ingredients to make them more balanced, while still keeping them enjoyable.🫶🌿 Recipe ⬇️ (Makes 6 Tikkis | ~100 Cals | ~6g Protein per Tikki) Ingredients 🥔 150g steamed sweet potato 🌱 80g raw sabudana 🧀 100g low fat paneer 🌶️ 1 green chilli, finely chopped 🥜 5 to 6 peanuts, crushed ⚪ ½ tsp sesame seeds 🌿 ½ tsp cumin powder 🌶️ ½ tsp red chilli powder 🧂 Sendha namak as per taste 🌿 Fresh coriander, chopped 🫒 A little oil for brushing For the Green Chutney 🥜 1 tbsp peanuts 🌿 1 handful fresh coriander 🌿 1 handful fresh mint 🌶️ 1 green chilli 🥛 100g Greek yogurt 🧂 Sendha namak as per taste How to Mak 1- Rinse 100g dry sabudana 2 to 3 times, soak in enough water for 4 to 6 hours until soft, then drain thoroughly in a strainer for 10 to 15 minutes. 2- Steam, peel and mash the sweet potato. Mix with the soaked sabudana, crumbled paneer, green chilli, crushed peanuts, sesame seeds, cumin powder, red chilli powder, sendha namak and coriander. 3- Mash everything together and shape into 6 equal tikkis. 4- Lightly brush with oil and air fry at 180°C for 20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy. 5- Blend the peanuts, coriander, mint, green chilli, Greek yogurt and sendha namak to make the green chutney. 6- Serve the hot and crispy sabudana tikkis with the green yogurt chutney. what a day !!!! was not expecting to go as fast as we did for my 2nd half marathon but what a fun experience, I’m so proud of all the training I did & it rly paid off 🥹🙌 I trained for 14 weeks before with a custom @runna training plan & when it told me my projected race pace could be 8:30 I laughed I was like no way!! since majority of my runs were in the 9:30s.. it’s crazy how a training plan actually works 😂 with the dreaded tempo runs & speed work it rly improved my speed so now I feel so accomplished ! running right now feels like it’s fulfilling a part of me I haven’t felt since rowing in college just pushing myself mentally & physically & it feels so rewarding 💛 anyways here’s your sign if you’ve been looking for one to pick up running ! I used to dread it, & sometimes I still do lol it’s always hard but you start to like it because it’s hard if that makes sense ! you can use code GRETCHEN to try 2 weeks free of Runna for a personalized running plan from their coaches, obvi highly recommended I give all the credit to my runna plan for getting me in the best running shape I’ve ever been in 🏃‍♀️ we shall see if I take on a full marathon coming soon … !
This feels nostalgic.
