How long could you cope without seeing ANY sunlight? 😮

At Canada’s Alert military base, the Sun sets on 13 October and will not rise again until 27 February.

That’s 136 days without sunrise.

So, where else in the world experiences the polar night phenomenon?

Get Ready With Me For Fourth of July Weekend In LA

For a brief moment, I sunned myself in Florida. And what a time to visit the beach! The water’s just warm enough to dip into, and the sand is cool enough that it doesn’t burn you when you leave. I’ll miss the nice weather.

Police allege a Toronto man was kidnapped at g*npoint and a*saulted after suspects tried to force him to hand over access to his cryptocurrency 6️⃣🐝

The investigation resulted in seven arrests, including three Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members, as well as the seizure of four f*rearms and more than 2,700 rounds of ammunition. Although the military confirmed the ammunition belonged to the CAF, it said it had not reported it stolen.

Other items recovered included a sh*tgun, f*rearms with 3D-printed receivers, GPS tracking devices, a crossbow and arrows, Canadian cash, and large quantities of m*thamphetamine, c*caine and other controlled substances.

Investigators continue to examine the relationships between the accused. Police identified three of the men as Talarambage Fernando, James Moreau and Jack Miley, all of whom serve in the CAF.

Raheem Bishop-Jackson, Saiefeddine Adem and Suhaib Alekozai were also charged with kidnapping for ransom, while Christian Darbandi was charged with conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.

Filmmaker @aaronavontjohnson raised a good point. We grew up watching cartoons with mostly white characters, and nobody questioned it. But when he creates Adventures With Aaron, featuring Black children as scientists, explorers, and heroes, someone asks why there are so many Black kids.
Our children deserve to see themselves as more than sidekicks or comic relief. They deserve to be the heroes, too.
Aaron said it best, “Representation isn’t exclusion.”
And I couldn’t agree more.

@adventureswithaaronshow.

Why is Black representation still something people feel the need to question?
