If Governments want more homes, roads, schools and essential infrastructure, then a good starting point is to back the small construction businesses that build them.

As our CEO Denita Wawn outlines below, governments should focus less on higher taxes and more on reforms that drive investment, boost productivity and fix our workforce shortages.

Why no one is talking about the cost of building, high prices materials which keep going up , definitely Australia will face a big problem later on with the shortage of new built homes

The housing crisis is actually a tax crisis. If you were to eliminated the massive tax attached to house building people would still barely be able to afford them. Instead the government is taxing it to death and doubling the price of a house. The people can barely afford before the taxes are added. The housing problem cannot and will not be fixed until all tax on housing is eliminated for five year period. That’s the reality. Deal with it all this problem will never be fixed. Shame on our government for taxing the one thing people need the most.!
