The new @santacruzbicycles Blur 5. I’ve been riding this one for a week now and it’s really surpassed my expectations. Fun, comfortable and fast! You shouldn’t get all 3, but you do here.
My personal favourite features are: The small bump compliance which not only smooths out the ride but really makes you feel like there is endless traction; The stability and direct handling in trails, which just gives you both mindless handling and complete confidence to go faster; And the bottomless feel to the suspension, it just never feels like it’s gonna run out.
On top of that there are features that make life easier (and cheaper), frame storage and external to the headset cable routing; 180mm rear rotors (you don’t know what you don’t know); room for two big bottles (tbh not Tacx, but Elite bottles fit); And of course a lifetime warranty.
This bike was made for fun, I’m so stoked on it.
