new york city was beautiful. the sun was shining, Halloween decor everywhere, the leaves turning crisp in hues of yellow and orange. constant memories of my child’s first ever Halloweens. hints of winter slowly scattered everywhere. I got to see all of my favorite people, people that have made this city feel like my home for almost a decade. reminders that some things never change, some connections slowly solidify, and unnecessary ones fade away gracefully, effortlessly, like smoke in the wind. loved surprising my students with an “easier” class as I respected the candlelight vibe and did not ask them to hold a 2 minute plank, and love watching this wonderful community grow one step at a time. loved so many moments of creativity, play, and connection, long walks everywhere, and surprises I never expected. because that’s New York, its magic and charm, its ability to light you on fire, scare you breathlessly and set your soul free all at the same time while you come face to face with anything possibly holding you back from your shiniest, truest, most unapologetic self.

Over 23,000 firearms seized from Mexican cartels, and suddenly we’re supposed to believe the people running the system are the ones keeping us safe?

The real question is… WHO is supplying these weapons, where are they coming from, and who’s being held accountable?

Americans deserve transparency, not blind loyalty to government agencies.

If public money and international weapons pipelines are involved, the public deserves answers backed by evidence not excuses, cover-ups, or political spin.

Stop treating questions like crimes.

Stop treating accountability like an inconvenience.

And stop expecting people to trust a system that refuses to earn it.

Question everything.

Demand the truth.

Hold those in power accountable.
