What an incredible weekend at L’Oréal Professionnel Immersion. From seeing the collections come to life on stage, to the energy behind the scenes, to an unforgettable night of artistry and inspiration — this was truly one for the books.

So much talent, creativity, teamwork, and passion went into every moment, and I feel incredibly grateful to have been a small part of something so special. 🤍

The long hours, the backstage moments, the excitement, the final looks walking the stage… all of it. A weekend I won’t forget.

The donors are making the decisions.
You’ve made it to November! And I know some of you are looking at the calendar wondering where the year went. You had plans in January. You had dreams you thought would be accomplished by June. You had prayers you expected God to answer before September. And now you’re standing in November, looking at everything that hasn’t happened, wondering if you’ve run out of time. But don’t you dare confuse a delayed expectation with a defeated destiny! Just because your year hasn’t unfolded the way you imagined doesn’t mean God has abandoned what He started! You’ve got two months left, but you’ve still got breath in your body, strength in your hands, and purpose in your spirit! Stop mourning the months you cannot get back and start maximizing the moments you still have! Finish the assignment. Make the decision. Release the distraction. Stop dragging yesterday’s disappointment into tomorrow’s opportunity! You cannot move forward while constantly looking backward. God didn’t bring you this far for you to surrender to a calendar! The year may be coming to an end, but your purpose is still unfolding. Don’t count yourself out just because the clock is running!
Is everyone okay with me libbing out during the Bills game? 🫪 But in all seriousness, it was great to see @nycmayor again, meet @aoc for the first time, and thank Gov. @govkathyhochul for passing MAiD in New York State. When my husband was dying of terminal cancer in 2022, he wished he had the bodily autonomy to end his life on his terms instead of suffering from immense pain every single day while his body slowly starved him to death. It was so insane to us that right across the river, just a few miles away, NJ allowed terminally ill patients to end their lives on their own terms while in New York—the state Rob was born, raised, lived, and died in—that option wasn’t available to him. It was the ultimate betrayal. Earlier this year, Hochul signed off on legislation that offers this option to terminally ill New Yorkers, and it finally went into law a few months ago. While Rob and I both wished he was able to do this when he was living out his final months, I’m glad other people in Rob’s situation will have access to more control over the end of their lives. We understand it is cruel to force our household pets to suffer from painful terminal illnesses. I’m glad this common sense is being extended to terminally ill human beings who can decide for themselves how they want to go out when fate has already made the ultimate decision for them. (And I’m sure Rob would be glad that his fellow WNYer did all of this…on top of finally getting the congestion pricing program up and running, so thanks for that too!) Go out and vote (for Dems), everyone. And go Bills 💙🤘🏾❤️
