Fränk is the first standalone home processor for Super 8, Double 8, and 16mm. You pour the chemistry. It handles the agitation, the timing, and the temperature compensation, across B&W, C-41, E-6, ECN-2, and ECP. A full process runs on one litre. The same time-compensation engine has run in our AGO processors for two and a half years, in the hands of over 3,000 photographers. Fränk is that engine, rebuilt for cine film. It automates everything except the pours.
Fränk film processor is already 352% funded with 18 days left to back it.
The first reviews and scans are published.
Fränk is live on Indiegogo through 12 September. Backers get Fränk for €969. Fränkie, the modern replacement for the discontinued Lomo tank, still has Early Bird spots open at €249.
