DAY 10 & 11 โ€” NAMIBIA ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฆ
5th WeRoad

After another transfer, we arrived at a strawberry farm, where we also found one of the most unusual sights of the trip: an upside-down house. ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ 

On Day 11, while the rest of the group was doing another activity, one of the girls and I went trekking and enjoyed one last adventure together. ๐Ÿฅพ๐ŸŒฟ

We then reunited with the others and spent some time shopping for local handmade crafts and souvenirs, before heading to the airport for our flight back home. โœˆ๏ธ #namibia #weroad #upsidedownworld #strawberries #upsidedownhouse

Times have changed dramatically over the past few decades, with everything from technology and entertainment to everyday household products evolving as companies adapt to new manufacturing methods and consumer demands. While modern products often benefit from improved technology, cheaper production and more efficient designs, many people believe certain items have lost the attention to detail that made older versions special. Toys are a particularly interesting example because children who grew up in the 1990s and early 2000s remember products that often featured intricate designs, durable materials and small details that werenโ€™t necessarily important to how the toy functioned. First introduced by Mattel in 1968, the miniature die-cast cars became famous for their creative designs, realistic vehicle models and incredible variety. A viral comparison shows the undersides of Hot Wheels cars labeled 1997, 2012 and 2026, with the older examples featuring detailed mechanical components while the newest design appears much simpler. Although the image alone doesnโ€™t establish that every newer Hot Wheels car has less detail, it highlights how changes in manufacturing can affect the appearance of familiar products. For collectors and longtime fans, details like molded exhaust systems, suspension components and underbody designs can make a small toy feel surprisingly realistic.
