I reported sexual abuse.

South Wales Police retrieved a discriminatory homosexual law from 1967 and used it against me in 2025.

Their official outcome says I “committed an offence”, was “no legal victim” and that “prosecution could take place now”.

I REPORTED SEXUAL ABUSE.

I CAME OUT THE CRIMINAL.

So where was the equality assessment?

I am gay. The historic law targeted gay men. There was no equivalent law criminalising a 19/20-year-old woman for having sex with a man.

Yet Cole, Rowlands and the Commissioner treated this as a decision about:

ONE GAY MAN.

But when Cole applied that discriminatory law to me, around 1.5 MILLION GAY MEN were effectively sitting beside me.

We were the protected class that should have been in their sights.

Counsel now argues the equality duty was “so low as to be negligible” because “the review only relates to one person”.

ONE GAY MAN.

So I checked the law they should have checked.

DUDGEON: not prosecuting does not cure homosexual discrimination.

B.B. v UK: Britain’s discriminatory gay age-of-consent law violated human rights even when prosecution was discontinued.

M.C.: no physical resistance does not mean consent.

DSD — UK SUPREME COURT: serious sexual abuse requires effective investigation.

HOTAK — UK SUPREME COURT: equality must be considered rigorously when the decision is made — not afterwards.

PARLIAMENT: qualifying historic homosexual offences are to be treated as “never having committed”.

South Wales Police wrote:

“committed an offence”.

THIS LAW IS NOT NEW.

So how did they get this so spectacularly wrong?

I say this record is capable of evidencing institutional homophobia.

As for Sgt Scott Hutton personally?

I cannot say whether he is homophobic.

But I asked South Wales Police at the time:

“Is this homophobia or incompetence?”

That question remains.

The lawfulness of what these institutions did is now before the High Court.
