Today is a very special day. It’s Jennifer’s birthday, and it’s insane to think it’s already been two years together.

We are so so very lucky to have Jennifer on our team. She is truly special and gifted. She even understands the challenges of operating a small business while trying to build a dream, and she is always ready to jump in however and wherever she can.

After the storm, my life was pure chaos. I was left alone in my store, trying to figure out how to move forward while so much of my time was being spent helping rebuild our community. I didn’t know what to do. I just knew I needed to find someone who could help me hold everything together.

I knew the moment Jennifer walked into the shop that she was THE person.

And I don’t say this lightly. Jennifer helped save my dream when we were so close to collapse after the storm. She works her tail off to support what we are building because we believe in each other, and I will forever be grateful for that.

So on her birthday, I want all of you to know, if you don’t already, just how special she is.

Jennifer isn’t only an incredible GM. She is a gifted artist, a creator, a problem solver, and a wonderful friend. She helped me pick up the pieces during one of the hardest chapters of my life and helped us start putting them back together into something even bigger.

Happy birthday, Jennifer. Thank you for believing in me, believing in this crazy dream, and helping make it possible.
