Happy National Voter Registration Day—lot’s to celebrate this year. The main thing to remember is you can register, you can vote, and you can track your ballot to make sure it gets counted.

And if you’re tired of all *gestures wildly* this, you can vote for change!

WNC Snapshot, August 2026. Energy rates are up. The price of travel is up. Grocery prices are surging. The cost of Healthcare is outrageous. And it is hot 🥵

Who can afford to live like this? I’m tired of Congress diverting public funds (our hard earned money) from community needs to more forever wars and tax giveaways for the wealthy.

Thank you to Liz, Nick, and Rocky for taking the time to talk.

Chuck Edwards is out, which is good news for survivors everywhere. But with the election coming up in just 90 days, who ends up on the ballot with an R is up to NC-11 GOP insiders, not the people of WNC.

Some politicians representing districts recovering from a climate disaster would focus on delivering recovery dollars to their constituents.

Others reportedly gift handguns to female staffers, write them poetry, and arrange surprise singers for their birthdays.

The House Ethics Committee would like a word, sir.

With only 121 days from now until Nov 3, don’t let them divide us by convincing you that the absence of your vote is more powerful than your participation.

You matter, your vote matters, building something together matters.

Who is profiting from the labor of your silence?

Love all y’all.

Y’all really gotta show up to vote this year. I can’t take another year of this level of stupidity in government.
