UPDATE: Class is now full! 🤗

Excited to teach this upcoming class for @kitchentablelitarts 🎬✍️🏽 "Poetic Storytelling in Film, Text and Art"

This free online class is funded by @poetryfoundation and will be held every Tuesday evening in October, via Zoom from 7pm to 9pm EST. ☝🏽

Available for all Black women poets and writers! 📝

Here's a description:

More than ever, poetic storytelling captures the essence of humanity through expressing our shared connections and individual experiences. This class will explore poetic storytelling in various multimedia formats such as film, television, text, music and visual art. We will focus on what makes storytelling "poetic" and the foundational aspects of how this medium can be channeled into accessible formats and expressions, through our studies, discussion and writing.
