Even though I have begun a new collegiate teaching journey this year, I am still out there phonating in front of audiences!
Starting off the season in my 25th production (!) with
@kyopera, covering Count Almaviva and singing in the ensemble in a wacky ‘80s Day Spa version of “Barber of Seville”
Following that, a project I am super excited to be on - narrating the part of the soldier in Igor Stravinsky’s “The Soldier’s Tale” with the
@derbycitychamberfest.
Returning to my Lexington church home, First Presbyterian Church, for Bruckner’s transcendent Te deum with a STACKED group of soloists including
@fairynne_rainey @hannahsheamezzo and
@wmclaythompsonEnding the season on a high with a dream piece, Salome, in a joint production with Kentucky Opera and
@louisvilleorchestra.
All season
@paigehcrain and I will be touring around the region to present our new program “Becoming A Redwood” (some have said it’s our best program yet).
Stay tuned for more updates as they come, and happy singing to all!
