for what it’s worth,

everyone knows music is my passion. when i was young, i’d zone out dreaming about the day i could hear my own hands on a record and say, that’s me.

i spent three months in my little office, often late into the night while my newborn slept, recording, re-recording, overdubbing, triple tracking, crafting parts, and obsessing over so many details. it was the most creatively fulfilled i’ve ever felt, and i’ll cherish that time for the rest of my life.

jake, alec, you guys are my brothers. i’m incredibly grateful to make music with people i have a real connection with, especially at a time when so much art is becoming increasingly impersonal.

we called this project chance of pace and it feels so fitting. im proud we did it on our own. give it a listen, i think we have something special here and it was so much fun. out tomorrow, 10/1.
