Dedication. His lifetime of service inspired my journey—from a student intern at @thecartercenter in 1999 to now serving the @hansestadt_buxtehude in Germany as a city council member. Thank you for your leadership and legacy, President Carter!

Inspiring. He and Rosalynn were some of my earliest and most influential role models in global health. They were also a big part of the Gates Foundations’ early days, and I'll never forget that—or them.
