As part of our campaign for Batch No.24 we visited @charliesheppard.studio while he was working on his upcoming solo show at @8hollandstreet called Daisy Chain.
“Daisy Chain explores the contrast between our impulse to shape and arrange flowers and the ways in which they quietly resist our control. From the childlike pleasure of weaving a daisy chain or carefully potting a plant, to the understated humour of a wilted bloom on a windowsill or a stem bending beyond the frame, each composition reflects the tension between human intention and nature’s own course”
If you can get there, Daisy Chain opens at 8 Holland Street’s Kensington Gallery, 10th Sept - 7th November.
