Bridget has been found safe and sound! How very wonderful to hear!

I waited 4 years…waited, prayed, hoped, dreamed….and then I got pregnant with twins 3x in under 4 years.

….more of my twin story pinned to the top of my ig feed.

Are you expecting twins? Do you have more than one set of twins as well?

Twins | large family | pregnancy | birth | multiples

Just a reminder as a mom of 9 who currently has 5 under the age of 6….little ones don’t need a ton of toys and things to keep the occupied during outings. Today my 21 Month old daughter came with me to an event that took about 3 hours.

She played with her 3 year old twin siblings.
She played with her water bottle
She ate half of my breakfast
She put these cars into this purse for a few minutes
She watched the race
She climbed on and off the chairs
She walked around

That was what she did for 3 hours. 🤎
This wasn’t a quiet event which helped tremendously but just wanted to share that less is often the best.

How many little ones do you have? And do you struggle going out with them?

Those years were busy. They were amazing. They were hard.

Moving, pregnancy, newborns, loss, and learning how to hold our home steady through constant change.

Looking back, I’m grateful we had already built strong rhythms and a family culture built on faith and love
into our life. They carried us through that season.

January collection is so beautiful. So many treasures.
My favorite piece is the belle meade dress (green floral). I put it on and gasped 😮. The textures and styles are so beautiful this month as always. @jessmarkoya with @neuflorawardrobe truly does an amazing job designing and choosing each piece. I feel so blessed to be a part of this company. If you’re looking to build a beautiful cohesive wardrobe that works in all seasons of motherhood…this is the place to be.
Full try on coming soon. Collection launches 1/21 at 2pm est.

My oldest turns 19 in April.
Sine becoming a mother in 2007 I have breastfed for a total of 125 months or 10.5 years.

Here is how my breastfeeding journey has looked…
1st: BF for 1 month then switched to formula
2nd: BF for 21 months exclusively
3rd: BF for 18 months exclusively
4th: BF for 30 months exclusively
5th and 6th (twins): BF 18 months (one twin had a few bottles in the hospital while my milk was coming in and then exclusively BF after that)
7th and 8th (twins): BF for 18. One twin was tongue tied and struggled to latch for a while. Had surgery and latching improved. My milk supply did not come on strong like my previous twins. Gave them 2-3 bottles of formula a day alongside of BFing until about 10 months old when they were eating more solids.
9th: BF 19 months exclusively and still currently BFing her

My 19 month old is nursing 2x during the day and 2-3x at night. I’ll fully wean her by the time she’s 2.

As you can see none of my BFing experiences have been exactly the same. I adjusted and did what I felt both baby(babies) and I needed at that time.

For me BFing is so much easier than bottle feeding even when it comes to tandem nursing twins. But everyone is different every journey is different.

How long have you been breastfeeding?

One of the biggest shifts homeschooling made for our family was realizing that the mother has to enjoy the curriculum too.

Not just tolerate it. Not just push through it.
Actually enjoy it. Understand it. Feel confident teaching it.

When a mother doesn’t enjoy what she’s teaching, it slowly becomes heavy—for her and for the children.

We’ve used the same core curriculum for years, but I don’t teach it the same way to every child.

Nature study is a good example.
I love nature study. I love observation, drawing, watercolor, living books.
I don’t personally love leading lots of crafts—but some of my children do.
So they lead.

One child loves tests. Another prefers notebooking. Another wants to read everything and talk it through.
Same material. Different expressions.

This is how a curriculum can last for years without burning you out.
Not by changing programs constantly—but by allowing flexibility within something you already enjoy teaching.

When the mother delights in the learning, the home feels lighter.
And that matters more than we’re often told.

Yuri cured his own depression after losing his mom by dressing as a superhero and helping people in need in all 50 states! “This Christmas I plan on visiting one senior in every state to uplift them.” Thank you @afuturesuperhero for making Big Talk! I have linked Yuri’s @gofundme in my bio. Thank you for your support! ❤️

P.S. when that bee 🐝 flew into the camera right after Yuri mentioned him seeing bees as a spiritual sign from his mom, I had goosebumps all over! 🥹🩵

Dozens of supermarkets across six European countries have been hit by a suspected cyber-attack affecting their refrigerators and freezers.

It has resulted in millions of euros worth of food being thrown away, according to local media reports.

Sabcobel, a Belgian company that manufactures some of the affected refrigerators, said the units' evaporators were switched to defrost mode causing them to warm up, in what is believed to be the same method used in last month's incident that hit hundreds of French supermarkets.

Sabcobel's CEO told the Belga news agency that the incident was a cyber-attack and that the company had been "working all night and morning to disconnect the affected units from the network".

It is unclear who is behind the apparent attack.
