A quick update to our dinnerware terminology! 🍽️

You may start noticing some updated wording alongside Mayco’s dinnerware icons. We’ve refreshed the terminology to make it clearer and more consistent worldwide!

What does this mean for you? While the wording is changing, the products you know and love are not. They are the same products with the same performance, just clearer language. Look for the updated terminology as it begins appearing on Mayco products and resources! ❤️

You can find more information on our website under “Dinnerware Suitability and ACMI Information.”

What if you are layering glazes where one is dinnerware safe and the other is not? How does that affect the outcome? Layering the dinnerware safe one in top for example, does that then make it safe?

Could you add to the section where you can choose which colors to see to based on whether it’s decorative only or dinnerware safe?

Hello, I live in Tbilisi, Georgia. I would like to order glaze. Do you ship to Georgia? I can also make it sound more natural for messaging a manufacturer or shop.

The “decorative use only” one is especially unhelpful. It’s not really understandable unless you know the previous meaning of the little symbol. This seems to me like you’re trying to get more sales because people don’t want to buy glazes that aren’t food safe, and these new wordings hide that better. Not a great look tbh.

I love mayco so please dont hate me over this question....does this have anything to do with a viral post that is currently circulating, claiming that Home Goods sells a lot of products with lead? I swear that post included a screenshot of mayco glazes.
