Li Na from China made tennis popular in that part of the world. Now, there are several women from China that are ranked 100 and higher. In the Asian leg of the women's tournament, there are two WTA 1000 levels in China. If the Philippines can produce several world class tennis players, then in the near future there will be bigger tournaments to be played in the Philippines.

Eala is an anomaly. Its going to be hard for them to spawn another 5’9” female player who looks as good as she does and also has skills to compete. Look at the other ‘top’ filipina players beneath her and its … yikes.
