I’m thrilled to be included in a new show opening on Thursday, September 17th at the Curb Center called Land Shapes.
Since 2022, I have been physically traveling the Anishinaabe migration route building relationships with land, water, and people. The photographs in the show capture intimate moments of prayer, reflection, and water collection. I will also be exhibiting some of the water samples and three publications from my Ancestor Bulletin: Water series.
The show came out of a course taught by professor Kevin Murphy called “Exhibiting Historical Art- The Abstract Landscape” and it includes Vincent Pomilio, Roxanne Bartel, Lanecia Rouse, and Maria Magdalena Campos-Pons.
