Back at the @aziendaagricolaagrosi shop, the whitewashed walls and high, star-vaulted ceilings seem almost made for a cooking class. Under Monica’s watchful guidance, we mill wheat, beat eggs into dough, knead and cut it into a parade of pasta shapes.

Meatballs follow, along with a pot of slowly simmering tomato sauce and the irresistible layering of tiramisu. Hungry, happy and flour-dusted, we lay the table and sit down to feast with the Agrosì family.
