There’s enough evidence that exists that we have reason to believe that the Department of Homeland Security is planning to purchase the Moshannon Detention Center from GEO Group, something that would be further waste of our tax payer money, a loss of property taxes to Clearfield County, and would make an already dangerous situation to immigrants held there even more dangerous.

We demand that the Clearfield county commissioners vote no on any contract extensions with GEO Group and DHS.

We demand that the Department of Homeland Security release those detained in the Moshannon Detention Center.

نجح العالم والمخترع المغربي رشيد اليزمي، المدير المؤسس والمدير التقني لشركة “KVI” السنغافورية، في تطوير تقنية تتيح شحن خلية بطارية من نوع ليثيوم-حديد-فوسفات (LFP) من 10% إلى 70% في 3.7 دقائق فقط، أي حوالي 3 دقائق و42 ثانية. كما تمكنت الشركة من شحن خلية من الفئة نفسها بشكل كامل، من 0 إلى 100%، في سبع دقائق.

وحسب بيان الشركة الصادر في 29 أكتوبر، تعتمد التقنية على "الفولطامترية غير الخطية" (NLV)، وهي طريقة تتحكم في الجهد الكهربائي أثناء الشحن وتكيّف التيار مع الخصائص الكهروكيميائية للبطارية. وجرت التجربة على خلية LFP تجارية، ولم تتجاوز درجة حرارتها 50 درجة مئوية طوال الاختبار.

ويُعد اليزمي من أبرز الأسماء في مجال البطاريات عالمياً، وهو المعروف باختراعه الأنود الغرافيتي المستعمل في بطاريات الليثيوم أيون، ويملك عشرات براءات الاختراع. وسبق له أن حقق نتائج في الشحن السريع، من بينها شحن بطاريات في مدة تتراوح بين 10 و15 دقيقة. ويُشار إلى أن هذه النتيجة، حسب ما ذكرته الشركة، تخص خلية واحدة، ولم يتم بعد تأكيدها بشكل مستقل أو اختبارها على بطاريات كاملة للسيارات الكهربائية.
