Salvaged Nostalgia

Everything you wear has meaning.

I am very excited to share this project as I have explored internally my passion for designing, photography, writing, modeling, image architecture, and sustainability and environmental impact.

This series of portraits are the first in my portfolio that I have truly orchestrated and given myself the space to feel comfortable in front of the camera.

Wearing designs made fully out of unconventional and thrifted materials, these looks explore my vision and goal as a designer: REIMAGINING.

These 5 looks, in addition to my growing collection of garments, strive to instigate a mindset of renewal and transformation. I want us to allow ourselves to break down what we have always known and allow for the rebuilding of new ideas and perspectives.

I believe fashion is one of the greatest tools to present ideas of change because we have the opportunity to present them on our physical being, as a symbol to society.

Throughout it all, I want to emphasize the relationship overtime with individual identity and the overwhelming hope and journey to making an impact.
