DAY 14: Hip Dips with the Glute Guy

If you’re like me and have hip dips, this is for you!

Glute med kickbacks target the FRONT of your glute med, contributing MORE to the look of hip dips 😭

To achieve the rounder look (since it’s physiologically impossible to actually GET RID of hip dips) focus on leaning forward abductions to target the BACK, aka the SHELF 🍑

@bretcontreras1 Bret, my concern is the opposite of wanting more outer hip. My anterior/lateral glute med is already very developed and I don’t want to add more width there. I specifically want more POSTERIOR glute med fullness toward the back. Would you prioritize the diagonal back-and-out movement shown here and limit straight lateral abduction? And on the seated abduction machine, would you use upright or leaning forward for that goal?

My gym doesn’t have the machine to do forward abductions. What other exercises do you recommend?

Then why did my hip dips look worse when I added abduction exercises to my routine? 😢
