After 39 years of marriage… Eric and Frances finally went to a Comic-Con together! ❤️
We’ve done a lot over the years, traveled overseas and across the country, shared life-changing experiences, celebrated the birth of our children, and stood together as we laid loved ones to rest.
But today was a first!
Frances has told me on several occasions that she wanted to attend a Comic-Con, so today we made it happen. We went to the Epic Mighty Con in Wendell, North Carolina, and we had a ball! 🎉
Usually, I’m there representing Giant Star Entertainment, but today I was in civilian clothing, simply there as a fan of comics and pop culture. We hung out with the cosplay folks, checked out the vendors and artists, and just enjoyed the whole experience together.
Afterward, we shared a lovely dinner.
I think this can officially be qualified as date night. ❤️
