This news helicopter crash near Van Nuys Airport in 2000 wasn't (or barely) mentioned in the stories last week regarding the history of news helicopter crashes. The female pilot, 33-year old Kris Kelley, also reported for FOX11 and NBC4 at the time. The pilot's cameraman happened to be from Chatsworth.
