More than $65,000 raised to help Surrey youth ignite their dreams!
The 12th Annual Ignite a Dream Gala brought together more than 300 community supporters, partners, local leaders, firefighters and guests at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in Surrey, raising over $65,000 to support local youth pursuing post-secondary education.
The evening celebrated young people who have overcome barriers while continuing to pursue their educational goals, while also recognizing the ongoing community work of the Surrey Firefighters Charitable Society. Ten participating restaurants, sponsors, volunteers and community partners helped make the fundraiser possible.
A powerful example of what can happen when a community comes together to create opportunities, support education and invest in the next generation.
