On episode 6 of LightWork, Kailei Carr and I got into how many of the systems we operate in are actually designed to limit us.
We talked about how certain spaces, workplaces, institutions, structures, are built in ways that make people feel less human and more like machines. Not because they encourage creativity, but because they quietly punish it.
Do it this way. Don't deviate. Quiet that creativity!
And when you can't create, you can't fully live your purpose. Kailei shared that for her, as someone of faith, creation is core to who we are; it is how we are designed. Cut that off, and something in people just starts to disappear.
We asked each other: wouldn't you want leaders who bring innovation instead of rigidity? Who treat people as people instead of asking how much can be extracted from them? What kind of world are we building if the answer is no?
