A quick recap of Session 3: Remembering E. Pat.

Nearly 40 community members joined us to share stories, history, family names, and memories of E. Pat Larkins and the community he served.

From stories of sacrifice and perseverance to one unforgettable reminder that “the building needs to be a Cadillac,” this session gave us so much to carry forward.

These aren’t just stories. They’re helping us understand what this center needs to represent.

Special thank you to @atastymouthful for the beautiful spread and to everyone who helped us continue building the story.

House Diaries, episode 3… and possibly the beginning of the end of my sanity 😂

It’s all very well deciding to renovate an entire house… until you remember you actually have to LIVE somewhere while they rewire, replumb and generally take the place apart.

Charlie’s solution? A static caravan in the garden.

Naturally I went straight to @kevin.mccloud1 hoping he’d tell me this was a terrible idea. Instead he said we should absolutely stay on site AND suggested adding a shed for the washing machine, wellies and coats. Thanks Kevin!!!! Very helpful 😂

Charlie is now fully committed to caravan life. I pointed out that I do still have to go to work looking vaguely presentable.

So there we are.

My one non-negotiable is Christmas. I am NOT spending Christmas in a static caravan.

I’ve clearly been outnumbered.

The current plan is to get as much of the outside done as possible and potentially move into our new luxury accommodation around March…

Would you do it?! Be honest…

Mental health has always been very close to my heart, and this year feels particularly meaningful. Today marks 40 years since I lost my father after his struggles with depression.

Over the years, I’ve come to understand how important it is to create spaces where we feel safe to speak openly, to listen without judgment, and to know that we are not alone. Mental health touches all of us, and we all have a role to play in supporting one another.

That’s why, together with @breathe_hellas, I’m launching LET IT BE HEARD, a campaign built around real voices, real stories and the belief that listening can lead to meaningful change.

I’ve invited some of my dear friends to share what mental health means to them, because every story matters and every voice deserves to be heard.

As we mark 40 years since my father’s passing, I hope we can turn something deeply personal into something that helps others. Our goal is to raise 40K € for 40 years, supporting Breathe Hellas’ art therapy and wellbeing programmes in schools.

Join us in turning listening into action. Share your voice, listen to someone who needs it, and donate if you can. Every contribution brings us one step closer.

🤍 Donate via the link in bio.
