I think the main character of the drop is LA/California as a whole the fall out of the Crack epidemic that leon helped start thats the main character rn the drive is the music, as seasons go on it will be gang shit. Rodney King/police brutality is coming as well gotta give it time

Great correlation at the end with Cosby Show and A Different World. Both favorites of mine and although they are connected. The value of each shows shines on its own 2 feet. We definitely need to let The Drop cook.

Its a spino-off so it has to be tied to the original but I love that its not a continued focus on the drugs. Its centered more around the aftermath of the crack epidemic and the characters struggles to do better coming out of it
