Packing summer away 😭
Boards washed down and deflated. Patios rolled up until next spring.
I have a bad habit of trying to hold on to summer too long (hoping for last fire or another paddle) and then getting caught with a storm warning and having to quickly disassemble everything with less care that I’d hoped.
So this year we got proactive and grabbed a sunny day to wrap up the summer memories properly.

Same! I did a big yard cleanup last weekend, trimmed the hedge across the front and did a big green waste dump run, put away the umbrella and carpets and chaise loungers and stuff. I was smiling the whole time it was pouring rain last night knowing that I beat the weather. (for once)

Same here. Put away all my outdoor cushions and patio umbrellas last weekend because I’m on the verge of no-sunshine season as the sun drops lower on the horizon 😩
