I was recently asked in an interview what I’m most proud of about building YVR Creatives.⁣
⁣
Three things came to mind.⁣
⁣
1. 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱.⁣
Me. A perfectionist filled with self-doubt and anxiety, terrified of how other people might perceive me. That woman decided to take a chance on herself, long before she had it all sorted out.⁣
⁣
2. 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱.⁣
Whatever block I come up against, and yes, usually it’s me, I find a way through.⁣
⁣
Sometimes there’s a 2 a.m. bowl of cereal in my dark living room while I question everything. 😅🫠 But I keep finding my footing and taking the next step.⁣
⁣
3. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗜’𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮.⁣
Women who booked a filming session with me convinced they couldn’t do it. Who had something valuable to offer but couldn’t imagine doing something as “cringey” as promoting themselves.⁣
⁣
During our sessions, we’ve worked through the nerves together. I’ve helped them find their words. We’ve taken a deep breath and tried again.⁣
⁣
With every take, they’ve built that “okay, maybe this isn’t so bad” muscle that makes showing up feel a little easier.⁣
⁣
And now I see them getting more comfortable. Pushing those edges.⁣
⁣
And, 𝘨𝘢𝘴𝘱, some are even getting playful and letting us see more of who they are. 🥰
⁣
Watching a woman go from “I could never” to “Actually, I have something to say”? I’m really proud to have a part in that.⁣
⁣
That’s what my VIP Content Filming Days are built for.⁣
⁣
We plan what you want to say, and I coach you through saying it on camera. You leave with a bank of content to share, and more practice being seen, heard, and yourself.⁣
⁣
You don’t need to arrive confident. We can work on that together.⁣
⁣
DM me “𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗠” to book your VIP Content Filming Session.

Helping women feel at ease on camera is valuable work. For anyone who freezes, recording a short unscripted voice note about the topic first can loosen things up, so the first filmed take becomes the warm up.
