WELCOME TO YVR CREATIVES A community for women building meaningful businesses and lives on their own terms. I'm Christine, @iamchristinecoughlin the founder, and here’s what we’re all about: We believe in creating businesses that are both profitable and sustainable. We believe that bold ambition shouldn't cost you your health or relationships. We also know that, as ambitious women, perfect balance is a unicorn, and maybe a myth. But recalibration? That’s where the real magic happens. We believe visibility isn’t about ego; it’s about service. It’s about practising being seen, collecting evidence of what you’re capable of and building the self-trust to take up space in the world. YVR Creatives exists because I wasn’t raised by entrepreneurs. For a long time, I didn’t understand why I had 100 ideas before breakfast, or why not having a project made me wildly uncomfortable. It was only when I started surrounding myself with like-minded women that I stopped feeling like an alien and started realizing what I was capable of. We are your cheerleaders, your sounding board, your accountability buddies and the ones who will remind you of the goal—and your gifts—when you forget. This is networking for female entrepreneurs, but not the surface-level kind. It’s meaningful connection. Honest conversation. Strategic visibility. Creative collaboration. And beautifully curated experiences that move you and your business forward. OUR MANIFESTO We believe growth doesn’t happen through force. It happens when women feel safe enough to try. Supported enough to be seen. And inspired enough to imagine more for themselves. We believe courage is built through action. Confidence is built through evidence. And growth becomes contagious when we experience it together. OUR VALUES Connection over competition. Compassion for our messy humanity. Progress over perfection. Sustainable growth and solid foundations. It’s never too late to start. We are here to help women become more visible, build stronger brands and expand what they believe is possible for themselves. Because when the right women come together, growth is contagious. 🌱Good things grow here. xx Christine by @yvr.creatives
FOR THE WOMAN WITH BIG IDEAS 🌿 The product she wants to bring to market. The studio she wants to open. The practice she wants to grow. The service she knows could help more people. The business she’s ready to take more seriously. YVR Creatives is for women building meaningful businesses across the Fraser Valley and Greater Vancouver, from product brands, shops and professional practices to studios, creative services and client-based businesses. Some are taking their first brave steps. Others are scaling six-figure businesses, building teams and deciding what their next level will look like. There is space for both here. Because no matter where you are in business, we all need opportunities to: LEARN Gain practical knowledge, hear new perspectives and learn from women at different stages of business. CREATE Turn ideas into action, develop new opportunities and make meaningful progress on the work only you can do. FOCUS Get clear on what matters now, receive support and follow through with accountability. You bring the vision. We help create the clarity, visibility and momentum to move it forward—with community, accountability and connection woven through all of it. You don’t need to be at a certain stage of business to belong here. You simply need to be willing to contribute, stay curious and keep moving your ideas forward. Because we all have something to learn. We all have something to teach. And when ambitious women come together, growth is contagious. Introduce yourself below and tell us what you’re building. 👇 🌱 Good things grow here. by @yvr.creatives

If you’re the CEO, the marketing department AND the person who restocks the printer paper
you deserve a company Christmas party. 🥂 And since nobody’s throwing one for you, we are. Year three. 100 women in business. One very sparkly night. You’ve spent all year building a business and a life on your own terms: making the calls, taking the risks, and doing it all in between school pickups and client calls. This is the night you put on something fabulous, leave the to-do list at home and celebrate like the boss you are. 📅 Thursday, December 3 ✹ The Westlund Building 🔗 Comment, party, to join the waitlist for earlybird pricing and first access to tickets. Trust me, you don’t want to hear about this one secondhand. And to the brands who love these women as much as we do: we’re looking for partners to help make this THE Christmas party of the season. Sponsorships and vendor spots are open Wednesday, and our gorgeous presenting partner spot is still up for grabs. These women lead our communities all year long, and they deserve to be celebrated in style. DM us and let’s make it fabulous. 💋 #YVRCreatives #WomenInBusiness #FemaleFounders #VancouverEntrepreneurs FraserValleyBusiness WomenWhoLead HolidayParty by @yvr.creatives

Our next Content & Connect event is on November 3rd! 🎥✚⁣ ⁣ These events are at the heart of the YVR Creatives origin story. Since 2022, I’ve been bringing women together for group content creation days, and they’re still one of my favourite ways to connect.⁣ ⁣ I provide the stunning location, charcuterie, coaching and support. Together, we batch-create videos to market our businesses.⁣ ⁣ We’ll also be joined by the incredibly talented @danicruzphotography , who will be offering mini headshot sessions for anyone who needs fresh brand photos to carry them into 2027. 📞⁣ ⁣ But it’s so much more than a content day.⁣ ⁣ It’s a chance to get inspired, learn new techniques and watch other women push through the cringe of self-promotion. 😂 It’s also a chance to protect time on your calendar to make your visibility a priority, surrounded by women doing the same.⁣ ⁣ This one’s a little different. We’re celebrating three years of YVR Creatives, so we’re bringing the women of this community together for a group photo and then spending the day creating content in a beautiful Abbotsford home. ✚⁣ ⁣ 📅 November 3, 10 am - 2 pm⁣ 📍 Abbotsford⁣ 🌱 VIP Creators Society members: Free⁣ 💻 Momentum members: Preferred member pricing. ⁣ ⁣ 𝗡𝗌𝘁 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗲𝘁? I was recently asked in an interview what I’m most proud of about building YVR Creatives.⁣ ⁣ Three things came to mind.⁣ ⁣ 1. 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱.⁣ Me. A perfectionist filled with self-doubt and anxiety, terrified of how other people might perceive me. That woman decided to take a chance on herself, long before she had it all sorted out.⁣ ⁣ 2. 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗜 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗎 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗌𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱.⁣ Whatever block I come up against, and yes, usually it’s me, I find a way through.⁣ ⁣ Sometimes there’s a 2 a.m. bowl of cereal in my dark living room while I question everything. 😅🫠 But I keep finding my footing and taking the next step.⁣ ⁣ 3. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗌𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗜’𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗜𝗲𝗱 𝗎𝗲𝘁 𝗺𝗌𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗌𝗺𝗳𝗌𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗌𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮.⁣ Women who booked a filming session with me convinced they couldn’t do it. Who had something valuable to offer but couldn’t imagine doing something as “cringey” as promoting themselves.⁣ ⁣ During our sessions, we’ve worked through the nerves together. I’ve helped them find their words. We’ve taken a deep breath and tried again.⁣ ⁣ With every take, they’ve built that “okay, maybe this isn’t so bad” muscle that makes showing up feel a little easier.⁣ ⁣ And now I see them getting more comfortable. Pushing those edges.⁣ ⁣ And, 𝘚𝘢𝘎𝘱, some are even getting playful and letting us see more of who they are. 🥰 ⁣ Watching a woman go from “I could never” to “Actually, I have something to say”? I’m really proud to have a part in that.⁣ ⁣ That’s what my VIP Content Filming Days are built for.⁣ ⁣ We plan what you want to say, and I coach you through saying it on camera. You leave with a bank of content to share, and more practice being seen, heard, and yourself.⁣ ⁣ You don’t need to arrive confident. We can work on that together.⁣ ⁣ DM me “𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗠” to book your VIP Content Filming Session. by @yvr.creatives

I’ve spent years on both sides of the lens. And I can tell you: the women who connect on camera aren’t the most polished ones. They’re the ones who feel comfortable enough to let us see who they actually are. That didn’t come naturally to me. I went from anxiety-filled dread at the thought of “promoting myself” to casually whipping out my phone whenever inspiration strikes and using my online presence to move my goals forward. So I put the exact things that helped me get there into my free Camera Confidence Guide. Because you have ideas worth sharing, a business worth talking about, and goals that deserve more than waiting until you feel ready. You’re allowed to be seen exactly as you are, starting now. If you’re tired of getting in your own way, comment “GUIDE” and I’ll send it to you. ✹ #YVRCreatives #VancouverEntrepreneurs #FraserValleyBusiness #WomenInBusiness #CameraConfidence by @yvr.creatives
