It was so good to connect and geek out with fellow kidlit creators at the Rutgers University Council on Children’s Literature Conference this weekend! ✨📓 My editor mentor from Scholastic was amazing, and all the industry mentors I chatted with during the day were friendly and encouraging and so passionate about making awesome books for kids! I have a lot of writing to do over the next couple of months but I’m going into it feeling more energized than I have in a while! Thank you #RUCCL !
