Dublin Marathon 2026 and a side of Storm Boela.
The rain hit yesterday all day , luckily only rained during the middle of the race today for me for about 40mins. It was cold and very windy ! My ball 🧢 didn’t last long. Running into a headwind seems pointless at times but the funnest experience is the side gusts which make you think you have been shoved by someone beside you 😝. Crowd support was amazing all day . This is the 3rd largest city marathon in Europe with 22.5k participants. A lot of people running their umpteenth Dublin marathon (number 4 for me) and a lot of 1st timers 👏. This is a huge day for charities with a lot of people raising money for good causes 💗. It was great to see my sister @sarah__0207 and family around 35k and another friend found me twice on course 👏. The real feel was 0 when the sun wasn’t shining so I made a quick exit home and of course once warmed up, I had ice cream 🍨😜😮😂
