My name is jim. raised dutch, look angolan. adopted. living with adhd. building an online business.

for the first two months of my life, i didn’t have a name. a doctor gave me the name jim.

for a long time i believed one thing: i should be able to figure this out myself.

so i did everything myself. ideas at 2am. saying yes to everything. building a business, a team and content all at once. my adhd brain loved it. all or nothing.

but doing it all alone has a cost. i asked for help too late. i took on too much. i played the mentor when i still needed to be the student.

so now i’m practicing the opposite. asking for help earlier. listening more. building with my brain instead of fighting it.

here i share what that actually looks like. adoption, adhd, business, faith. the real version, not the highlight reel.

i don’t have it all figured out. but i hope this page makes you feel a little less alone.
