"Floating pink, dissolves into sea foam,
Purple seaweed,
Frothing, breathing, secreting
In the heat of of the kiln
The colours merge and melt
Fire meets water,
Evaporates
And forms into tiny bubbles
Stuck to the surface
Cosmic shifts
Of temperatures
Unbeknownst to her

She is all beauty, rising from the foam
Aphrodite, Goddess of
Love
and keeper of fires
amongst the knotted sea weed

Hot, bothered and melted
She flings herself into a hot tub

Once, love, a long time ago
Now all she can do is wear the embers on her thigh
A thigh high with wet and secrets
Secreting secretions of the underbelly
She doesn't wait anymore

The kiln temperature rises,
now reaches peak
Collapse
Again

The floating pink, now turned hot
Scorching, melting

Burning"
