Caravan's story didn't start in London. It started in New Zealand, where three friends, Laura, Miles and Chris, met while working in restaurants and bonded over good food and great coffee.
When they moved to London, they wanted to build a relaxed but buzzing place where people genuinely feel at home, serving bold global flavours alongside freshly roasted coffee. In early 2010 the first Caravan opened on Exmouth Market with an all-day menu, and the idea hasn't changed since: grab a quick flat white or settle in for a long dinner with friends.
Today there are nine Caravan restaurants across London and Manchester, from Exmouth Market to Vardo in Chelsea, with menus that borrow flavours from around the world and coffee that's roasted down the road at Lambworks on North Road. The roastery has its own brewbar too, so you can drink it right where it's made.
They're a proud B Corp, and they believe speciality coffee shouldn't feel exclusive. Everyone is welcome at Caravan.
Open Monday to Friday 8am to 3:30pm, Saturday 8:30am to 3:30pm.
