9 days agoMy self-care is writing poetry, writing old-fashioned letters to friends, walking my dog, and going to my junk journal class.
10 days agoSelf care to me means actually finding the time, carving out the time to do was is very important for yourself. Exercise is important. Prioritize it. Above the needs of others. Peace. Find it. Even if it means staying home. Sometimes people feel like they need to travel or take trips and vacations to find peace. But you can start by being home. Clean something in your home. Light a candle. Paint some art. Crochet or knit.
10 days agoLove this! My self care is spending time with friends, morning walks with my dog, long phone calls and reading.
11 days agoWe love this conversation because the meaning of self-care changes so much as we get older. It’s about investing in ourselves, staying curious, trying new things and making our physical and emotional well-being a priority. We’re learning that taking care of ourselves deserves just as much attention as taking care of everyone else.
11 days agoWhat a great post. Self care for me is being true to myself and not pushing myself to do more when I’m tired. Cooking meals I enjoy and not putting myself last. Singing in the car and going for walks outside ❤️❤️❤️
