Happy Heavenly Birthday @johapuigd ! El Hip Hop NewYorkino esta de luto. Se nos fue el Perro Goldo al plano ancestral. Those that were lucky to call him a friend- know that Joha was a force- aveces jodia jajaj pero era tremendo amigo - the type to pick you up at the airport when you would go to Miami- to make an effort to connect you to all his rap friends de España- aunque era Dominicano amaba el rap de España y gracias a el conocimos @elputocoke @teambackpackesp y muchos mas - he was a people connector taking us to meet @misioflow1 - or making sure his homies got to join him on stage- in the 2010s his crew Los Leones con @ambusheljovenlavoe and @kingcapo718 took the scene in NY by storm- I recall Kool Herc being at our show and loving them - and of course Joha became Hercs friend too and took him to meet his peoples- one time Joha got taken by La Migra and we did a benefit show to support him and he found a way to call from jail and insisted on spittin bars over the phone- he did epic shit like that all the time. Ese era Joha - full of life and energy. You will be missed Bambino. I still dont recall why we would call each other that 🤣🤣 - QEPD RIP MC Joha - Presente!! Aca some short videos we were able to take from his last show in NY this past summer for #BrooklynMundial we did w / @cruz_khaoz @actionlabny @evergreen.initiative - honored we were able to have him rock- he always looked his happiest on stage. #MCJoha #hiphop #RapNewYorkino #LatinoHipHop
