Root&Rise

Hi! We’re Root&Rise: a space for women and nonbinary adults to relax, recharge, and build community through summer-camp style retreats, events, and gatherings…all in a 17th century château in the French countryside.

Our founder Erin and a group of friends came together to invest in this new community project, one that centers community, creativity, nourishment, and rest.

This vision and teamwork led to us finding our home in the peaceful Allier region of France. Surrounded by working farms, hiking trails, gardens, and open spaces, the château is the perfect place to unwind, relax, and re-energize.

2026 was our first year at the château, and we’re so excited for what’s to come in 2027!
