COMMUNITY IN ACTION! 🧹🎒💜

Last weekend was a reminder of what happens when people come together with a shared purpose🙌🏽

I joined @mrfingaz and @theegeneraljo___ for the Archer Avenue Annual Clean Up near the Jamaica Bus Depot. These two saw a need and turned it into a call to action✨️👏🏽🙌🏽🙏🏾💪🏽

As the new Sanitation Chair for Community Board 12,
I look forward to building on their efforts by engaging #DSNY and community partners to help keep our corridors clean and our neighborhoods thriving. Community partnerships are essential to creating lasting change🙌🏽

I also had the pleasure of attending the D29 Back to School Parade and Festival 2026, alongside Superintendent Dr. Robin Davson @sup_rdavson @robindavson ,here students, parents, school communities, organizations, and volunteers came together to celebrate our children and connect families with backpacks, resources, and support for the school year. 🎉✨️📚📝

Thank you to everyone who showed up, contributed, volunteered, and helped make both events meaningful✨️🙌🏽.

From cleaner streets to brighter futures for our children, it takes all of us working together. Let's continue turning community needs into community action! 💜✨️🙏🏾
