Call to action for my #Advising colleagues. Like many of my peers, #NACADA26 rejuvenated me. I always love seeing and learning from my #NACADA family / colleagues who push me and the profession to be better. This year I met so many #Advisors at the beginning of their journey, taking hesitant steps, asking thoughtful questions, and needing advice as they navigate the challenges currently facing higher education. If you are a seasoned advisor, please take a moment to reach out to the new advisors and professionals you have met at @nacadacommunity or on your own campuses. Ask them how you might be able to assist them, share your NACADA / Advising journey. You need not have all the answers, but help connect them to your network, NACADA resources, and involvement opportunities. Open the doors and welcome them in.
