I am honored for the opportunity to serve on the NACADA Board of Directors alongside these amazing colleagues and advising professionals at #NACADA26. It has been 23 years since my first NACADA conference and 12 years since I became actively involved as a leader. To say that the organization, the professional networks, the scholarship, and friendships it has imparted have been life changing, is an understatement. I look forward to helping to do my part in guiding the organization and am happy to talk to anyone who wants to learn how to get involved with #NACADA. A special thank you to @kylewross and the executive office for their hard work and dedication to the #Advising profession. by @jpsinkart

#UrbanSketching at #RIT 's Parents Weekend presentation of @billnye the Science Guy. Enjoyed listening to him chat about his experiences and the need for science while I sketched.

Call to action for my #Advising colleagues. Like many of my peers, #NACADA26 rejuvenated me. I always love seeing and learning from my #NACADA family / colleagues who push me and the profession to be better. This year I met so many #Advisors at the beginning of their journey, taking hesitant steps, asking thoughtful questions, and needing advice as they navigate the challenges currently facing higher education. If you are a seasoned advisor, please take a moment to reach out to the new advisors and professionals you have met at @nacadacommunity or on your own campuses. Ask them how you might be able to assist them, share your NACADA / Advising journey. You need not have all the answers, but help connect them to your network, NACADA resources, and involvement opportunities. Open the doors and welcome them in. by @jpsinkart

Fit in one last #urbansketch at #NACADA26 featuring @christinasueann and @suchpower . In my defense Philip wasn't present when I drew Christina. #NACADA by @jpsinkart
